A new opera house, a new piece, new laser-driven remote control technology for the set, and the debut of a great conductor… Lots of innovation for one mad project. It was the most challenging production in Francisco’s career and was a wonderful team effort from all concerned, be it the design team or all the workshops, chorus, production managers, actors, etc, all battling with huge numbers of performers, huge scenery, hugely complex devices, endless costumes with prosthetics and the wonderful but then still untamed huge new Opera House.
