“A New Day” was Holiday on Ice’s return after the first COVID lockdowns. The tour of Germany started in November 2021 but was interrupted by the second lockdowns. The show was updated and started its tour again, with a new cast, in November 2022.
A New Day is an ode to the magnificence of our world as seen by an outsider, inverting the usual escapist fantasy themes of previous productions and pushing the boundaries of Holiday on Ice’s style a little further.
