50th National Day of the UAE

This is the second UAE National day show conceived and designed by Es Devlin. Francisco co-directed this monumental evolution of the previous year’s concept with Gavin Robbins and Es. The show took place on a lake in the Hatta mountains, with a floating stage that was a lake in itself, holding a 20 meter tall rotating stage and fountains. Pyro was launched from and combined with drones. The show focused on climate issues and the role of women in UAE society. Produced by Larmac Live.
